Pretty much every book-related thing I do is fun. But there’s something extra-magical about a book launch party.
You’ll be there, right? Even if you’re in New York, say, or Canada? Git yourself down here and let’s kick this thing off right!
(And PS: You can pre-0rder books from Brazos and I’ll sign them beforehand so you don’t have to wait in line!)
Houston folks, get ready! It’s almost time for the Children’s Museum of Houston’s Parents and Families luncheon! Monday, February 23 at the Hilton Post Oak. Buy a table! Bring all your friends! Come support one of the greatest places for kids in H-town–and hear me talk about my new book, how to help kids write the stories of their lives, and my worst high school date ever!
Looks like I’ll be headed to Dallas on March 5, 2009 for a reading for Everyone Is Beautiful at Legacy Books. From what I can find online, Legacy books looks enormous and swanky and gorgeous. Can’t wait.
I’ll be speaking at the Mom 2.0 Summit in Houston this coming February. The Kirtsy Chicks and OpMom are organizing, so you know it’s going to rock.
Here’s how they describe the summit:
What do you get when you mix top brands, mom bloggers, social media experts, marketing leaders, media leaders, tech moms and mompreneurs all under one roof talking shop? (Well, besides a whole lotta awesomeness….)
Plus the speakers are awesome, and the venue is supah-swanky!
I will be speaking at the Children’s Museum of Houston’s big fundraising luncheon on February 23, 2009–just one week after Everyone Is Beautiful goes on sale.
If you’re in Houston, be sure to come! Contact The Children’s Museum for tickets.
